Alex’s interest in the optometry field began in college, while working summers for her family friend’s optical shop in rural Missouri. After graduating from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, she continued on in the field at various practices in St. Louis. 

 

Alex now lives in Little Italy with her fiance and their rescue puppy, Ash. She enjoys reading, hiking, rappelling, and foraging for and growing mushrooms.
